Seven week intensive course covers..
* Week #1 INTRODUCTION and TIRES & TUBES The relationship between tires, comfort and speed, hands on flat repair, trouble shooting the causes of flats, and tire selection.
* Week #2 BRAKES
Covers different types of brakes. Hands on: Brake cable and brake pad replacement, adjustments, and lubricating key brakes parts. Trouble shooting brake problems from squeals to poor braking.
* Week #4 BOTTOM BRACKETS Hands on: overhaul, adjustment of the bearings and trouble shooting shot bearings and poor adjustment.
* Week #5 HUBS Exploration of front hubs, rear hubs and the types available. Hands On: Replacing and adjusting hub bearings. Trouble shooting loose or tight hubs.
* Week #6 WHEELS, RIMS & SPOKES Hands on: Spoke replacement and wheel truing. Trouble shooting wobbly wheels and damaged rims.
* Week #7 REVIEW and QUESTIONS NOT COVERED A chance to ask questions not covered and review problem areas. Discuss proper sizing and fitting you to your bicycle.
One 2-hour evening class/ week for 7 weeks.

This class meets once per week for 7 weeks. Each session is 2 hours The cost is $190. The class is limited to six students to ensure everyone a place to work and get dirty. A PARK TOOL SCHOOL student manual is also included as well as a certificate of completion. A 10% DISCOUNT WILL APPLY TO ALL TOOL PURCHASES. The clinic will be held starting January 13th 2005 at 7pm
